Even though most people are more open to homosexuality, the few who are not have become more vocal and dangerous. Their backs are to the wall and they are frightened. They will do whatever, say whatever, to stop the homosexual community and friends from creating an open, loving world. As a gay man, I rejoice at the acceptance that seems to be growing, but weep because of things like North Carolina banning anything other than a heterosexual marriage. Thank you and everyone else for doing something as widespread as this blog event. It means so much to me to know there are people who want to stop homophobia and bring about acceptance and tolerance in the world. On a side note, it seems you got promoted from #225 to #218. I`m already "the foreign nurse" and sometimes I just lie or stay elusive when my patients ask me about my partner or relationships (and believe me they do ask a lot) because it`s easier. It is hard.
